Megan Hess... is the only experienced freight train rider she knows pushing a swing on the playgrounds of Brooklyn. She’s also a storyteller invested in making you laugh. She earned a BA in Film from Emerson College and an MFA in Film from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her work includes experiments in celluloid, documentaries about travel and non-traditional living, stop-motion animations, and most recently queer family dramedies. Her day-to-day chaos is fueled by her two gregarious children, her foxy wife, and the queer collective house they all share in Brooklyn, NY.
